Redskins Wrap Up Rookie Mini Camp

Today, the Washington Redskins completed their yearly mini camp. It is a weekend long event where rookies are able to come in, compete, and some will earn a training camp spot. This is another opportunity for the team to find some undiscovered and undrafted talent.

The roster consisted of 48 players including 2013 draft picks safety David Amerson, tight end Jordan Reed, saftey Philip Thomas, running back Chris Thompson, linebacker Brandon Jacobs, safety Bacarri Rambo, and running back Jawan Jamison. The Redskins twelve undrafted free agents were there, as well. Other players that attended the mini-camp included former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin and Birmingham Southern running back Shawn Morris, brother of current Redskins running back Alfred Morris.
